Gwadar is a resent famous port city on the southwestern coast of Balochistan province of Pakistan, It is located on the shores of the Arabian Sea opposite Oman. Now Gwadar is becoming a top attraction for national and international tourists and is preferred to be tourism in the Gwadar.
The value of Gwadar was recongnized in 154 when when it was identified as a suitable site for a deep water port (which is rare in all over the world) by the United States Geological Survey at the request of Pakistan’s Government while the territory was still under Omani rule. Later on Pakistani paid handsome amount to Omani’s GOVT and got that beautiful, valuable port.
In April 2015, Pakistan and China announced China–Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) to develop the gwadar by initial investment of $46 billion, which in turn forms part of China’s One Belt. In addition to investments directly under the aegis of CPEC in Gwadar city, the China Overseas Port Holding Company in June 2016 began construction on the $2 billion Gwadar Special Economic Zone, which is being pawed the path of the Special Economic Zones of China. It is developing by the Pakistan and China co-operations day by day.
